Activision Blizzard Inc.’s action-packed commercial for the videogame “Call of Duty: Ghost” that shows a group of young men and actress Megan Fox participating in a shootout in Las Vegas was named one of the worst ads of 2013 in the WSJ’s annual survey of marketing executives.
An action-packed commercial for the videogame “Call of Duty: Ghost” shows a group of young men and actress Megan Fox participating in a shootout in Las Vegas as Frank Sinatra’s “I’m Going to Live Until I Die” plays in the background.
“It was brilliantly produced but completely irresponsible,” said Ms. Credle. “The pure joy of these young men running around with heavy artillery in a world that is hauntingly real becomes more insensitive as news continues to break about mass shootings performed by lone men. Glamorizing violence today in mass communication channels is dangerous business.”
A spokesman for Activision declined to comment.
But Megan Fox sure looked hot as always.
